Exchange

GLEAP is developing leadership by interacting with

various student organizations at home and abroad.

1

GLEAP conducts annual exchange activities with domestic student organizations. In such activities, we hold academic seminars and scientific discussions. GLEAP interacts with STEM, and excellent student center at Seoul National University's College of Enginerring, every semester. Along with academic seminars and scientific discussions, GLEAP and STEM combine their knowledge to conduct collaborative academic workshops. In addition, GLEAP held annual exchange events with KPF, a KAIST presidential fellowship. GLEAP and KPF have held exchange events called 'SISCYS Camp,' a 'minor innovation of science and engineering students who contribute to society camp.' It provides young scientists an opportunity to discuss our society's potential issues.

Exchanging with Domestic Organizations

GLEAP's exchange activities are not limited to Korea. At the beginning of each year, GLEAP visits several leading research institutes in foreign countries and interacts with overseas student organizations. In 2023, we visited research institutes of A*STAR and NUS and interacted with SPS, an excellent student organization in the NUS faculty of Science.

Foreign Academy & Culture Trip

The night of GLEAP is an annual homecoming event to promote exchanges between the alums and active members. GLEAP recruits new members yearly who actively participate for two years before completion. Thus, opportunities to interact with Alumni are slim. The night of GLEAP provides a place for exchanges between Alumni and current members to compensate for this.
